The mariner link takes its shape from anchor chain: an oval with a bar struck across the middle. That bar is what keeps the chain from rolling, so it stays flat against the ankle bone rather than digging in edgewise. At 1.70 mm this sits in the middle of the fine range — more substantial than a whisper-thin chain, still slim enough to wear beneath a sock line or alongside a second anklet. Solid 10K yellow gold, closed with a lobster clasp.

Measure snugly around the wrist or ankle just below the bone, then add half an inch for a piece that moves comfortably or three quarters of an inch if you prefer one that slides.
