Size & Fit Guide

Sizing is where buying jewelry online most often goes wrong, and it is almost entirely avoidable. A strip of paper and a ruler will settle it. We do not offer resizing, so it is worth getting right the first time. If a piece still arrives wrong, send it back within 14 days of delivery — no reason required. Return shipping is free on US orders. Eternity rings carry a 30% restocking fee on return, so please measure especially carefully for those.

Ring Sizing

There are two reliable ways to do this at home. Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of the finger, mark where it meets itself, and measure that length in millimeters against the circumference column below. Or measure a ring that already fits: lay it on a ruler and read the inside diameter, edge to edge. Whichever you use, measure the finger the ring will actually live on — most people’s hands differ by half a size.

Fingers swell in warm weather and at the end of the day, so measure in the evening rather than first thing. If you land between two sizes, take the larger one — a ring that is slightly loose can be worn; one that is slightly tight cannot.

Necklace & Chain Length

Chain length is really a question of where you want the piece to land, and what it will be worn over. Eighteen inches suits most necklines; if you intend to layer, buy two lengths at least four inches apart so they do not sit on top of one another.

Bracelet Sizing

Measure snugly around the wrist just below the bone, with a tape measure or a strip of paper. Then add half an inch for a bracelet that moves comfortably, or three quarters of an inch if you prefer one that slides. Tennis bracelets and rigid bangles run closer to the first figure; chains suit the second.

Earring Guide

Earrings are sized by measurement rather than fit, so the only real question is scale. Where a measurement is published for a piece, you will find it on its product page.

Studs

Measured across the face, typically 3mm to 10mm. Six or seven millimeters is the everyday size most people reach for and the one that reads as jewelry rather than punctuation.

Hoops

Measured by inner diameter. Twenty to twenty-five millimeters is a hoop you forget you are wearing; anything past forty is a decision you have made for the evening.

Drops & Dangles

Measured from the top of the post to the lowest point of the drop. Twenty-five to forty millimeters is the classic range, and the point at which weight starts to matter as much as length.
