The links are simple elongated rectangles with rounded ends, hooked in a single row. What makes paperclip work is the open spacing: at 1.50 mm there is more air than metal, so the chain looks light and modern rather than dense. How do I choose the right size?
Measure snugly around the wrist or ankle just below the bone, then add half an inch for a piece that moves comfortably or three quarters of an inch if you prefer one that slides.
