Description
Only the bottom of this hoop is twisted, and that is where its interest lies. From above it reads as a plain polished ring; lower down, a run of diagonal twists gives the curve some texture and catches the light a different way.
Each hoop is a round tube of polished 14K yellow gold bent into a circle, smooth along the top and sides and twisted into diagonal ridges along the bottom. A hinged wire at the top swings across and snaps into place.
14K yellow gold, polished finish with a twisted base, hinged snap closure. 4 mm wide, 30 mm in diameter. Approximate weight 2.8 grams. Sold as a pair.

How are earring sizes measured?
Studs are measured across the face, hoops by their inner diameter, and drops from the top of the post to the lowest point of the piece. Where a measurement is published for a style it appears in the specification above. For a sense of scale: a six or seven millimeter stud is the everyday size most people reach for, and a hoop past forty millimeters is a decision you have made for the evening. Are your metals real gold and silver?
Yes. Our gold pieces are genuine 10K, 14K or 18K gold, and our silver pieces are 925 sterling silver. Some sterling silver pieces are gold-plated or rhodium-plated, and a small number combine sterling silver with 18K gold.
