Description
A marquise drawn in a single fine wire — pointed at the top and bottom, full through the middle — so the shape of a cut stone becomes the shape of the whole earring.
At 35 millimeters tall it covers real ground on the ear, but the wire is so fine and the outline so open that the piece stays almost weightless at a gram. There is no clasp: the wire passes through the piercing and the two ends slide together, which is what leaves the outline unbroken. Solid 14K white gold, polished.
