Description
Three rings passing through one another so that none can be separated without breaking the others. It is an old idea and it still holds a room's attention.
Each ring is diamond cut, machined with fine ridges that run around its circumference, so the light travels the loops rather than sitting on them — three separate highlights instead of one. Because the rings interlock at angles, the stud sits slightly proud of the lobe and reads as a sculpture rather than a disc. Eleven millimeters across, solid 14K yellow gold, on push backs.

Studs are measured across the face, hoops by their inner diameter, and drops from the top of the post to the lowest point of the piece. Where a measurement is published for a style it appears in the specification above. For a sense of scale: a six or seven millimeter stud is the everyday size most people reach for, and a hoop past forty millimeters is a decision you have made for the evening.
