An octopus in 14K yellow gold with a mother of pearl body, 22.00 mm across and 17.00 mm tall. The shell is what makes this one work: an octopus in plain gold would read as a lump at this scale, but the iridescence gives the body depth and separates it from the gold arms curling around it. Mother of pearl shifts color as it moves, so the charm never looks quite the same twice. 2.6 grams, on a fixed bail.

Which length should I choose?
Sixteen inches sits at the base of the neck, eighteen just below the collarbone — the most versatile length — and twenty inches and above sit on the chest. If you intend to layer, choose lengths at least four inches apart so the pieces do not land on top of one another.
