Solid 14K white gold at eight tenths of a millimeter — fine enough to read as a thread rather than a chain.
Rope construction spirals small links tightly around one another, so there is always a facet turned toward the light and the chain shimmers continuously down its length rather than catching link by link. That twist is also what gives it strength at this width: the load spreads across the spiral instead of resting on a single link. Deliberately delicate, meant for a small pendant or worn alone. Spring ring clasp. Available in 16 and 18 inch lengths.

Which length should I choose?
Sixteen inches sits at the base of the neck, eighteen just below the collarbone — the most versatile length — and twenty inches and above sit on the chest. If you intend to layer, choose lengths at least four inches apart so the pieces do not land on top of one another.
