A box chain is built from square links rather than round ones, and that shape is the reason to choose it. Square links seat flat against each other, so the chain lies straight along the collarbone instead of rolling or twisting the way a rope will — which is what you want when a pendant has to hang square. At 0.45 mm it is fine enough to sit under a shirt collar and stay there. The color comes from copper in the alloy: 14K rose gold is gold blended with copper, and the copper is what warms it toward pink.

Which length should I choose?
Sixteen inches sits at the base of the neck, eighteen just below the collarbone — the most versatile length — and twenty inches and above sit on the chest. If you intend to layer, choose lengths at least four inches apart so the pieces do not land on top of one another. Are your metals real gold and silver?
Yes. Every piece is made in genuine metal — 10K, 14K, or 18K gold, or 925 sterling silver. All pieces are stamped with the corresponding metal marking.
Does this come with a warranty?
Yes.
