Description
Tubogas is the coiled gold band that Italian houses built their names on: a tube wrapped in tight, close ribs so the metal looks flexible even when it is not.
Here it is cut short into an open C that hugs the lobe. The ribs run across the band rather than along it, which is what breaks the light into a ladder of highlights instead of one streak, and the inner face carries a fine cross-hatch texture that few will ever see. Solid 14K yellow gold, on a post with a push back.

Studs are measured across the face, hoops by their inner diameter, and drops from the top of the post to the lowest point of the piece. Where a measurement is published for a style it appears in the specification above. For a sense of scale: a six or seven millimeter stud is the everyday size most people reach for, and a hoop past forty millimeters is a decision you have made for the evening.
